COURSE FEES INCLUDE

  1. - US university and foreign school tuition
  2. - Student services fee including first lodging search fee
  3. - Academic assessment, placement-exit tests, and instructional plan
  4. - Course materials: books/resources provided, return at end of studies
  5. - Immersion foreign language/culture classes abroad: average 20/week in small groups
  6. - Weekly proficiency goals and progress assessments
  7. - Culture program integrated into conversation classes and homestay interaction
  8. - Orientation: local attractions, how to, do/don't, health/safety, entertainment venues
  9. - Lodging: Homestay with single bedroom (alternate lodging on request)
  10. - Meals: Breakfast and dinner daily in homestays
  11. - Pre-Study Materials covering health, safety, security, joining instructions, destination facts
  12. - Assistance with currency exchange, cell phone rentals, internet access, local discounts
  13. - Local Program Director to facilitate the multi-cultural learning experience
  14. - Meet-the People interaction at school, homestays, and community events
  15. - Initial transcript (additional transcripts at cost from US university)
  16. - Emergency Hotline 24:7. Multilingual assistance worldwide
  17. - Accident Insurance up to $10,000 - see policy for all insurance conditions, exclusions
  18. - Sickness Insurance up to $10,000
  19. - Medical Evacuation Coverage up to $25,000
  20. - Travel Insurance: Repatriation, reunion, AD&D to policy limits
  21. - Local taxes for included services
  22. - Service learning and community volunteering is encouraged and available at some (not all) locations
  23. - Combined Study Location.  For those who wish to study in two or more cities or countries.  Helpful for students engaged in comparative studies.  Available at most (not all) locations.  Requires at least 2 weeks per study city.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED:  Transportation to, from, and within study city; dictionary, verb book, notebooks, pens (bring your own); laundry; entertainment; tours; personal expenses; items not specifically listed as included above.  Classes missed due to holidays and unforseen circumstances are not made up.

*NOTES:  FOUR CREDIT courses include lodging, designated meals, and insurance abroad for 5 weeks (from Sunday prior to the first day of class until the Saturday following the last day of class).  THREE CREDIT courses include lodging, designated meals, and insurance for 3 weeks (Sun-Sat).  If, to complete course requirements, you require additional time abroad, fees will be higher. PARIS add $145 per week.  Japanese program is only available March through October.
