Multi-Cultural Practicums in 18 Countries for Educators & Administrators

Workshops benefit professionals working in a multi-cultural environs who wish to earn non-degree distance education credit graded (A-F, S/U). (Portuguese 113 is graded S/U only.) The goal is to better integrate study abroad into the professional development approval process and academic degree curriculum while improving inter-cultural competence. Since students travel independently (not accompanied by US faculty abroad), participants must possess the maturity of character and work ethic to succeed in this type of self-directed program with full access to resources and research opportunities of the host country.     • US faculty set course requirements, monitor academic progress, and determine final (letter) grades.
    • Foreign faculty facilitate completion of daily assignments, monitor attendance, & provide support services.
    • Administrative coordination is provided by the National Registration Center for Study Abroad (NRCSA).

  • SP 5590E* - Topics: Improving Healthcare in a Multi-Cultural Society. 3 Credit. Offered in twelve Countries

*No foreign language proficiency required; paper may be written in English; for educators, counselors & administrators in all fields

Application Dates:

Workshops scheduled monthly in 18 countries (including year-end holidays). Applications accepted year-round.

Course Fees

Application Fee $385 - $300 of which is used twoards the final cost of your program. Course fees (below) include US University tuition, course materials, homestay lodging, most meals with native speakers, insurance & cultural activities.
